CIET (UK) Ltd are currently recruiting staff to work on Scottish Power Networks in Scotland and Wales.  The following positions are available:

  • - Chargehand Linesmen with a minimum of 3 years experience to carry out works on 33kV, 11kV  and LV Installations, including LV Live Line operations (Preferably Scottish Power authorised but not essential)
  • - Linesmen with a minimum of 3 years experience to carry out works on 33kV, 11kV  and LV Installations, including LV Live Line operations (Preferably Scottish Power authorised but not essential)

All the above positions are for work on Scotish Power Networks UK for a period of 4 years and upwards.

Scottish Power Energy Networks (SPEN)

CIET have recently been successful in the award of 2 nos. contracts by Scottish Power Energy Networks (SPEN) in the UK.  These projects include the refurbishment of 460km of 11kV Overhead Power Lines and Framework refurbishment within Scotland and the North Wales areas.

 

New Vacancies at CIET

Due to the award of new contracts in the United Kingdom, CIET are pleased to announce vacancies for the following skill sets:

Woodpole Linesmen:
Experienced Linesman required to work on 33kV, 11kV and lV installations, including lV live line operations.

Poling:
Live line Poling Operators and Controlling Craft Persons.

Senior Authorised Persons:
Required for Network Switching Operations

Administration Assistant:
Required for Project Administration.  Preferably with a background knowledge in Overhead Power Networks Operations.

CIET win National Health and Safety Award

Belmullet based company CIET win National Health and Safety Award at the 19th Annual Occupational Health and Safety Awards 2010 held in Athlone on the 1st of October 2010. The awards which are run by the National Irish Safety Organisation (NISO)/ Northern Ireland Safety Group saw CIET win the award for the Best new Entry for Medium Size Organisations.

CIET Managing Director Louis Cronin said that he was “delighted by the award which is in recognition of staff commitment within the company to best practice Health and Safety.”
