With offices in Belmullet, Westport, County Mayo and in Dumfries, Scotland, CIET is proud to serve these communities.
Rural communities must develop indigenous employment and skills if they are to survive and prosper. CIET believes that it contributes to that requirement every day.
Since its establishment in 2000, CIET has provided full time, highly skilled jobs, to the local community.
Corporate social responsibility
Our Corporate Responsibility Programme encompasses five broad initiatives that drive the way we work and determine the impact we have on our people, our clients, our suppliers, society, and the environment.- Community support and charitable giving CIET support a range of charities and organisations such as the Erris Wheelchair Association, Club Farraige and a range of local sporting teams.

- Environment and sustainability Committed to a programme of management and continuous improvement of our direct and indirect impacts marks our contribution to improving the world in which we live. A major recycling initiative has just been launched.
- Ethics and integrity Committed to ensuring that our business is conducted in all respects according to rigorous ethical, professional and legal standards.
- Health & Safety It is our responsibility to protect the health and safety of our people, the general public or anyone affected by our operations.
Community Sponsorship

Belmullet Hurlers
In 2010, CIET became the official sponsors of the Belmullet Hurlers, Belmullet Club. Cathaoirleach, Kevin Ryan said “Every club has huge overheads such as travel, jerseys, hurleys, helmets, sliothars to training gear expenses. It is great to get sponsorship for our teams from a local company”.
Club Farraige Iorrais - Erris Sea Club
CIET donated a Topaz Uno Plus sailing Dinghy to the Club Farraige Iorrais, whose aim is to provide safe access to and participation in water sports activities. Amy Veasey, Club Chairman said that “as a result of this donation from CIET, we have seen adult and parental membership double and we are now is a position to offer year-round outdoor activities”.
Irish Wheelchair Association
In May 2010, CIET staff raised €3,790 by participating in an 18km sponsored walk “The Erris Head Walk” from Muchrenaigh, Tipp to Dún ná mBó. All funds raised were in aid of the Erris Branch of the Irish Wheelchair Association.Adrian Barrett said “We are happy to have helped such a worthy charity, who provide great support and services throughout the Erris Region”
